Dog Walker & Pet Sitter - Milton Keynes

Emma loves animals and has always had and been around dogs and horses especially throughout her life. Emma is really passionate about giving owners peace of mind when she is caring for their fur babies and treats all Pawesome Walkies pets like they are her own.

Emma currently doesn’t have a dog of her own and so loves how this role allows her to spend time outdoors with a variety of beautiful dogs and other pets, building a bond of her own with them. Emma’s favourite part of the job is being greeted with such joy and excitement from the animals as they know her arrival means adventures, cuddles and treats!

Emma started working with animals at the age of 13 when she began working at her local small animal vets as a kennel maid. She then progressed to a receptionist and then an auxiliary nurse. Emma has previously studied Animal Care Level 1 and has always enjoyed learning about and being around animals. Emma’s family have always had pets such as dogs, chickens, guinea pigs, fish and birds and Emma has ridden and cared for horses for the last 23 years since she was 7 years old.

Emma’s career in dog walking started in November with Pawesome Walkies. Emma walks early mornings, lunchtimes, evenings and weekends around her full time job where she works in Development for a Domestic Abuse charity. The role has provided some very welcomed down time and mindfulness and Emma is loving the role so far!
