Hi, Pawesome Pack! 🐾 As we sit here with tails wagging and hearts full, it's time to look upon the journey that has been 2023 for Pawesome Walkies. Your favourite pet care provider has been on a wild adventure, and we're thrilled to share the highlights as we embark on a brand-new year of wagging tails and wet noses.

This year has been all about evolution and laying down the foundation for something pawsitively incredible in 2024. We've been working hard to create job opportunities, allowing our lovely leader Bex to channel energy into turning Pawesome into a pet care powerhouse.

A special shout-out to Louise, our social media guru, who joined us in January 2023. With her arrival came a pawsome transformation in our social media game. We've switched things up, making it easier for you, our cherished clients, to spot your furry friends without getting lost in a sea of stories. The main page, thanks to Louise's magic touch, now radiates the true Pawesome energy, capturing the love we have for our animals and the exceptional standard of care we provide.

Speaking of behind-the-scenes helpers, yours truly, along with Karen, have taken over invoicing for a solid eight months now. It might not sound glamorous, but it's a crucial part of keeping things running smoothly. It ensures that our amazing team members, can spread their wings as independent pet care providers and focus on doing what they love most: looking after your best friends on four legs.

Now, let's give a big round of ap-paws to Zoe, our longest-standing Pawesome member of over four years! Zoe is a pillar of our company, and in the coming year, she's set to lead the pack as a Team Lead. Karen, our other senior walker, has been a force to be reckoned with for 2.5 years. Her boarding services have taken off, and in 2024, she's gearing up to become a Team Lead, spearheading our expanded pet sitting services for those summer holidays. Kelly, who joined us a year ago, has thrived and earned her promotion to Senior Dog Walker. Anyone who has had the pleasure of having Kelly as their walker or fellow team member will agree that she is a beam of sunlight and her love for your furry friends shines through daily!

Poppy, Tori and Hayley, with their two-and-a-half-year tenure, are the backbone of our team, proving that Pawesome is not just a job; it's a family. As we express our gratitude for our incredible team members, 2023 has indeed been a year of connection, building together through life's ups and downs. All of our other Pawesome family are just as important, whether they’re cosying up at a pet sit or braving the elements on an adventure walk. So to Poppy, Zoe, Mia, Emma, Karen, Tori, Mel, Sam, Eleanor, Kara, Louise, Sophie and both of our Hayley’s – thank you for all your hard work this year!
 
Our sister company, Pawesome Pet Sits, turns a year and a half old, and the lessons learned over this year will shape an even more Pawesome 2024. We have loved keeping your pooches company and keeping your houses safe while you explore the world, spend time with your loved ones and cherish those special days and events in life.

And drumroll, please! We're excited to announce the birth of our boutique, Styleash, set to launch in 2024! As pet care providers, we have learned all about what works well on walks, whether it’s to keep doggos toasty and clean, or long leads to make sure your pups can roam freely and safely. We can’t wait to transform our knowledge into practical, stylish and easy-to-use goodies for you and your furry best friends. Keep your eyes peeled for updates!

As we wrap up another year, we're reminded of the new pets that joined our pawesome family, the friendships forged with their hoomans, the cups of tea shared after braving the rain, and our forever muddy cars. It never gets old, and we're grateful for another year of turning what we love into a job.
