The Best Dog Walks in Milton Keynes, Northampton and The Wirral!

Hey there, human friends and furry friends alike! Ready to embark on a tail-wagging adventure through some of our top-notch dog walking spots? Well, grab the lead and let’s dive into the Pawesome World of Milton Keynes, Northampton, and The Wirral! Here’s a list of our favourites, straight from our pet care professionals at Pawesome Walkies.

Milton Keynes Marvels:

Aspley Woods:

Just outside of Milton Keynes, Aspley Woods is a canine paradise, and it’s a favourite of our walker, Poppy! "There are so many routes around the place; you can easily not see anyone else, so it's perfect if you have a reactive dog." With sandy trails through lush greenery, Aspley Woods offers a tranquil escape for both pup and person. There’s plenty of spots for a coffee and catch up in nearby Woburn Sands, too.

Muswell’s face says it all: Aspley Woods is the best!

Blue Lagoon:

A splash of adventure awaits at Blue Lagoon! Combining vast fields with shady wooded areas, this spot is a playground for your furry friend. It's the paw-fect mix for a tail-wagging good time, with stunning blue waters that shimmer in the sunlight. Don't blame us if your pup wants to keep coming back for more!

Stockgrove Country Park:

With an abundance of routes to explore and not one but two dog-friendly cafes, Stockgrove Country Park is a haven for social pups and their owners. It's a tail-wagger's delight, offering the perfect blend of nature and creature comforts. We love pack walks and solo walks here, as there’s plenty of space for your pup to explore and sniff!

Northampton Nirvanas:

Salcey Forest:

Among the treetops of Salcey Forest, you'll find a unique experience – a treetop walkway! Your pup will be on cloud nine (or should we say tree nine?) exploring this elevated adventure. It's like a canine carnival in the canopy! If you or your pup has wobbly paws up high, you can explore the vast woods from the comfort of ground level.

Bucknell Wood:

A favourite of our walker, Tori, Bucknell Wood is a charming ancient woodland in Northampton. With plenty of pathways to explore, this wood is a sniffing paradise for dogs, boasting an abundance of flora and fauna. And let's not forget the enchanting bluebells that paint the landscape in spring - just another thing to truly appreciate about the English countryside!

Hazelborough Wood:

For group walks in Northampton, this is the place to be. When it comes to spacious play areas, Hazelborough Wood takes the crown. There's ample room for your pup to run, jump, and roll around. It's a canine wonderland, tailor-made for those who love a bit of freedom during their walks.

Wirral Wonders:

Birkenhead Park:

This isn't just a park; it's a masterpiece! Designed by the same architect as Central Park, Birkenhead Park is a treat for both humans and dogs. Take a leisurely stroll among the greenery, and let your pup's curiosity run wild. We’re all for a place that is just as enjoyable for us as it is for our pooches.

Arrowe Country Park:

Mud, water, and wagging tails – that's the Arrowe Country Park guarantee! It's a pup's dream come true, and a favourite of our walker Kelly. Offering an abundance of opportunities to splash, dash, and play, it’s always an opportunity for good laughs and even better pictures! Get ready for some seriously happy, muddy paws!

West Kirby Beach:

Is your dog a water baby? Head over to West Kirby Beach for a splash-tastic time! Here’s a top tip from our head honcho Bex – check the tide before you go! We wouldn't want your pup's beach day to turn into a submarine adventure. Head there at low tide for ample room to run, play and chase a ball.

At Pawesome Walkies, we pride ourselves on tailoring our walks to suit your dog's needs. Whether it's a lively pack walk or a serene solo stroll, we've got it covered. Our mission is simple: happy dogs, happy tails! A walk with us is the perfect opportunity for your pup to make friends if they’re a social butterfly, or to have some one-on-one time with our dedicated pet care providers if they love to be the centre of attention.

So, join us on this tail-wagging journey through Milton Keynes, Northampton, and The Wirral – because every paw deserves a great walk!
