Deedee has always loved animals and is never happier than when she's spending time with dogs. She has a real soft spot for Labradors, Golden Retrievers, and big dogs in general, and loves getting to know each dog's unique personality.

She has animal care qualifications and experience working in kennels, as well as being the go-to-girl for her friends and families dog sitting needs! Her experience has given her a good understanding of dog care, behaviour, and welfare. Deedee is now excited to start dog sitting and walking for Pawesome helping owners feel confident that their pets are in safe, caring hands.

A lot of her love for bigger breed dogs comes from her “soul dog” Toby (toes for short), A chocolate lab who she had for 15 years who was a goofy cuddly bear, and from spending time with Yogi Bear (or "Yoghurt" as he's usually called!), a gentle giant rescue Yugoslavian Shepherd Dog who has completely won her over. Whether it's a long walk, a game of tug of war or just cuddling up with him, Dee genuinely enjoys making sure every dog is happy, comfortable, and well looked after.
